Identity changes
Negli ultimi anni ho sempre utilizzato un albero come logo. Ora è il momento di cambiarlo per diverse ragioni: lil mio linguaggio è cambiato, il pianeta è cambiato, milioni di alberi stanno subendo una devastazione molto silenziosa, inesorabile, incredibile. In Europa e non solo.
In the past years I have always used a tree as my identity logo. It is now the moment to change it for different reasons: my language has changed, the planet has changed, millions of trees are under a very silent, inesorable, unbelievable devastation. In Europe and not only.

Un piccolo coleottero, che ha fatto il suo lavoro per anni, vive ora in un periodo di abbondanza e così, si diffonde divorando non solo gli abeti rossi caduti, ma anche quelli vivi, che si trovano sulle nostre montagne. In breve, temperature più elevate e cibo, stanno aiutando il suo ciclo vitale a essere più veloce e facile.

Typographus and writings
Il suo appellativo (typographus) deriva dal modo evocativo in cui scava nel legno per creare le camere matrimoniali, le vie, le gallerie, ecc. Queste linee sono così incredibilmente regolari nello spessore, nello spazio e nella forma che mi affascinano perché evocano un carattere tipografico, una scrittura, un ideogramma di culture dell'estremo oriente... quegli imperi di segni con i codici segreti... come se la natura stesse scrivendo qualcosa che non capiamo.
Its appellative (typographus) comes from the evocative way he digs in the wood to create the marrial chambers, the ways, the paths, etc. These lines are so incredible regular in thikness, space and shape. They fascinate me as they evoce a font, a writing, an ideogram of far east cultures... those empires of signs with the secret codes...as if nature is writing something we don't understand.

Come un tatuaggio sulla mia pelle, con il mio nuovo logo voglio ricordarmi cosa succede quotidianamente e silenziosamente in quelle foreste. Lo uso come un collegamento viscerale con le mie opere. Come frattali, vasi sanguigni, vasi linfatici, fulmini, tutto è collegato.
E così anche io all'Ips Typographus.
Like a tattoo on my skin, with my logo I want to recall what is happening daily and silently on those forests. I use it as a visceral link to my works. As fractals, blood vessels, lymph vellels, lightnings, everything is connected. Even me to the Typographus beatle.
